Frequently asked questions:
Do you have a minimum order?
Yes, we have a minimum order value of £50 inclusive of VAT.
Are there set-up charges?
Some methods of garment decoration require set up costs although this is often waived on larger orders. Screen Printing, for example, has a set up cost for setting up the screens. Embroidery has a charge for digitising your logo into a machine readable format although this is a one off charge and so not applicable to re-orders. Call us on 0800 298 5086 for more information.
How long will my order take?
This will depend on the size and complexity of your order but, usually, our turnaround time is approximately two weeks. If you have a strict deadline to work to then please make sure you notify us as soon as possible.
Can you Screen Print in full colour?
Yes. Where possible we will split the image into Spot Colours as this method produces the widest gamut and most vibrant colours. However we can also do a 4-colour process print (CMYK) to reproduce photographic images.
What format does my artwork need to be in?
Where possible we alway recommend that artwork is supplied in vector format. This usually takes the form of an Illustrator (.ai) or Postscript (.ps, .eps) file although PDF files may also be vector based.
For some print methods, such as Digital Transfer or Dye sublimation, then a standard Jpeg or PNG file may be fine. For best results the image needs to have a resolution of 300dpi at the required print size.
If in doubt then send us your artwork and we can advise on suitability.
I only have a Jpeg of my logo. Is this ok?
If your image is of sufficiently high resolution then it may be suitable depending on the nature of the design and the printing method required. If you send us your image then we can advise on which methods of printing would be suitable.
If your image is low-resolution then we also offer an artworking service where we can redraw your logo or design in a print friendly format. Please contact us for more information.
What is the best printing method for me?
Choosing the best print method depends on three main factors - the type of design you have, the type of garments to be printed on and the number of prints you require. The best thing to do is look through our catalogue and find the garments you would like and then use our quote form to provide us with all the necessary information.
We will then recommend what we think is the best option for you and give you a price for the whole thing.
